adults

Ever been a kid that hopes to grow up fast so you can be like the adults?
i did.

well, come to think of it now. i rather choose to be a kid.
as we grow up, we will gain more. be it experience or spending power. but the more we gain, the more we expect. As expectations rise, i realize that being an adult is not easy. Adults tend to be less happy, unlike kids who are easily contended.

this is the same for relationships..the more relationships we have been through and experienced, the more we will expect of our next one. we always want something or someone better or to be better. Humans are simply insatiable, thus, the rise in divorce and break ups.

*sigh* humans err, we know what we are doing not right or we should not be greedy. but we never stop hoping that MAYBE things will change. thus, leading us to an endless pit of disappointment.
